John P. Feeney is a graduate of New York University School of Law, and Bowdoin College. He concentrates his practice in real estate and business transactions. His experience in sales and acquisitions of real estate include individual properties and large portfolios, structured both as real estate conveyances and as corporate acquisitions. John represents landlords and tenants in leases for all asset classes and has extensive experience in specialized leases such as data centers, transportation and shipping facilities, and technology incubators. John's experience in financing includes representation of lenders and borrowers for traditional real estate mortgage lending and the real estate security aspects of corporate lending facilities. John has extensive experience in general contract matters related to real estate, including brokerage, energy supply, property management and construction agreements.

Prior to joining Seegel Lipshutz & Wilchins, John was Senior Counsel to Sullivan & Worcester LLP and served as a consultant to the brokerage group at CB Richard Ellis-N.E. Partners. He was Senior Counsel in real estate to Brown Rudnick Berlack Israels LLP, an Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP, and served as law clerk to the Hon. Herbert P. Wilkins of the Mass. Supreme Judicial Court.

John is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Maine. He has appeared as a CLE panelist with the Boston Bar Association. He has coached for ten years with Wellesley Youth Soccer.
