Michael B. Cosentino is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and of Clark University. Mr. Cosentino is chairperson of Seegel’s litigation department concentrating his practice in civil litigation focusing on business litigation. Mr. Cosentino has extensive experience in the financial services area representing both securities firms and financial advisors in individual and institutional customer disputes before the New York Stock Exchange, Inc., and NASD Dispute Resolution, Inc. He has litigated and arbitrated a variety of legal issues arising from employment relationships, including wrongful termination claims and non-competition disputes. In addition, Mr. Cosentino has handled numerous matters in the areas of insurance, breaches of contract, fraud, tortious interference with contractual relations, real estate and construction disputes, D & O liability and fidelity law. Mr. Cosentino has trial and appellate experience in both the state and federal courts.
Mr. Cosentino is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, New York and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Massachusetts, New York, District of Columbia, and American Bar Associations.
While at Georgetown, Mr. Cosentino served as the Editor in Chief of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal and he has authored Dwomoh v. Sava: Accepting and Applying the Correct Definition of a Refugee, published in The Georgetown Immigration Law Journal, Fall 1989.
